The Beta Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta was founded at the University of Virginia on June 10, 1932. Over the years, Kappa Delta has been involved in many service programs and philanthropies that have worked towards the betterment of the University and Greek communities, by instilling values of friendship, sisterhood, leadership, and responsibility.
We take pride in being well-rounded women, who excel academically, hold numerous leadership positions on grounds, and continually support the Charlottesville community. Our chapter is unique because of the diversity of our members and the strength of our sisterhood. Although the college experience always seems to end much too soon, the sisterhood does not. The bonds created within KD extend long after graduation.
